"I'm not going to start a campaign for any coach to come but I don't see any demerit [in appointing a foreign coach]. They can bring things that are different to our football."
The Barcelona right-back added: "I think the best way to evolve is sometimes to admit that somebody else does things better than you. There's nothing wrong with saying that, whether it be in football or anything else in life."
After the match Scolari said Brazil's football confederation would decide his fate.
"That has to be decided by the confederation president [Jose Maria Marin]," Scolari told a press conference.
"When we started we had a deadline to make our jobs available at the end of the World Cup regardless of the result. And that is exactly what we're going to do with a final report for the president."
Local newspaper Folha de S.Paulo quoted Marin as saying Scolari's position had become "untenable" after the defeat to the Netherlands.
Earlier local media reported that the Brazilian confederation was pursuing Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho for the role.

So instead of struggling to keep the two out of each other's way, organizers instead opted to get rid of cars completely.

The initiative brought curated art works, pop-up performances, a music mainstage, relaxed seating areas right on the road, and much more to festival-goers over the extended four-day weekend. TIFF's Festival Street programmer Nobu Adilman said the idea was to create entertainment that was accessible without the exclusive guest lists.
"It's been in the works for a while. It's been in negotiation with the city, the idea to expand the festival experience to the street hydro flask wine tumbler sale , to give delegates a chance to stretch their legs, take their meetings outside and just create some more space for the festival to happen," he said. "The festival has always been for the people, and the idea is to invite them down to just say: hey, the festival is yours."

It wasn't just a welcomed initiative for festival-goers, but also for business owners on that stretch of the street. Closed off to traffic, restaurants were allowed to extend their patios right onto the roadway.
