SUNRISE, Fla. - The New Jersey Devils scored early and often to spoil the Florida Panthers home opener.Damon Severson scored his first NHL goal to cap a four-goal opening period and the Devils chased Roberto Luongo early to beat the Panthers 5-1 on Saturday night.Severson also got his first assist.
