Reggie White Jersey , the Philadelphia Eagles released their third and final official injury report in advance of their Week 8 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Four Eagles players have been ruled OUT: running back Darren Sproles, cornerback Sidney Jones, safety Corey Graham, and linebacker Nathan Gerry. Sproles hasn’t played since Week 1. Doug Pederson said he does expect the 35-year-old running back to return at some point this season. With Sproles out, the Eagles will continue to split carries among Wendell Smallwood Womens Mike Quick Jersey , Corey Clement, and Josh Adams. If last week was any indication, Jones’ absence means Dexter McDougle will start at nickel cornerback once again. Avonte Maddox will remain at safety.Graham was the only one of the four “out” players to travel with the team to London, which might indicate he could return after the Eagles’ Week 9 bye. Or maybe he just wanted to go sight-seeing.Gerry has been out for a couple games now. Missing him doesn’t hurt the Eagles’ linebacker/special teams depth as much with D.J. Alexander returning to the field this week. For the second week in a row, Haloti Ngata is listed as questionable to play. Ngata was limited in practice all of last week before being inactive against the Panthers. Ngata was limited again on Wednesday and Thursday this week but he was a full participant on Friday. Perhaps Ngata will be back this Sunday. That’d be nice since the Eagles are very thin at defensive tackle. Lane Johnson and Jason Peters were limited in practice all week but they’re not listed on the final injury report.Carson Wentz was full go on Thursday and Friday after being limited on Wednesday for the second week in a row.Note that Derek Barnett was officially placed on the injured reserve list on Thursday evening. Rookie defensive end Josh Sweat should see a significant increase in playing time moving forward.PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)OUTLB Nathan Gerry (ankle http://www.eagleslockerroom.com/authentic-wes-hopkins-jersey , knee)S Corey Graham (hamstring)CB Sidney Jones (hamstring)RB Darren Sproles (hamstring)QUESTIONABLEDT Haloti Ngata (calf)...RESERVE/PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO PERFORMS Chris MaragosRESERVE/NON-FOOTBALL INJURYDT Timmy JerniganRESERVE/INJUREDRB Jay AjayiCB Elie BoukaWR Mack HollinsS Rodney McLeodTE Richard RodgersWR Mike WallaceLB Paul WorrilowJACKSONVILLE JAGUARS INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)The big takeaway from Jacksonville’s injury report is that the Jaguars will likely be without three of their top four cornerbacks against the Eagles. Star defensive back Jalen Ramsey will still be playing but the rest of the Jags’ corner situation is dicey. Starting cornerback A.J. Bouye is out. Nickel corner D.J. Hayden is doubtful. Hayden’s backup option, Tyler Patmon, is out. That leaves the Jags with just Tre Herndon, Quenton Meeks, and Dee Delaney at corner outside of Ramsey. All three of those guys are undrafted rookie free agents. They’ve played four snaps combined on defense this season. It goes without saying that the Eagles need to find a way to take advantage of this secondary. Jaguars starting running back Leonard Fournette is out Wilbert Montgomery Jersey , as expected. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft hasn’t been able to shake a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1. With Fournette out, the Jags will likely pound the rock with the newly acquired Carlos Hyde. James O’Shaughnessy was starting at tight end with Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Niles Paul on injured reserve. But now that he’s out again, the Jags are down to their fourth and fifth string tight ends: David Grinnage and Blake Bell. Those two players have combined for three receptions for 24 yards this season. OUTCB A.J. Bouye (calf)RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring)TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip)CB Tyler Patmon (neck)DOUBTFULCB D.J. Now the Eagles’ priority is keeping him healthy.Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson told Sal Paolantonio of ESPN that “Carson is good to go” as the Eagles open camp.Asked if the Eagles will managed Wentz’s workload to prevent setbacks, Pederson answered, “We will a little bit.”By letting Nick Foles walk in free agency and giving Wentz a big new contract this offseason Womens Harold Carmichael Jersey , the Eagles have removed any doubt about their faith in Wentz to be the long-term answer at quarterback. But until Wentz makes it through a full year without getting hurt, questions will be raised. It’s not only the back injury in 2018 but also the torn ACL that ended his 2017 season early, the rib injury that kept him out of three preseason games as a rookie in 2016, and the broken wrist that caused him to miss eight weeks as a senior at North Dakota State in 2015.The Eagles want this to be the year that Wentz finally stays healthy. They’ll do what they can to ensure that by being smart with how they use him in training camp.
