Donte Moncrief‘s first game with the Pittsburgh Steelers is one he would like to forget as soon as possible.Moncrief managed just three catches on 10 targets in Sunday night’s regular season opener against the New England Patriots. His three catches netted just seven yards and Moncrief had a handful of passes hit his hands that he was unable to secure Youth Joejuan Williams Jersey , including a fourth-and-one conversion and a potential touchdown.“It’s sickening when you watch it and you know the plays that you’re supposed to make and you didn’t make them,” Moncrief said, via Mike Prisuta of the team’s website. “And you see them and you’re like, ‘Gosh, I know I gotta make that.’ The other day, after we watched that film, there was a feeling in my stomach, it hurt. I went home, went straight to sleep Womens Joejuan Williams Jersey , it hurt me. I had to put that away.“That was my first one like that, that was a bad one. It hurt, but at the end of the day it’s the NFL, all you can do is get better the next day. You gotta bounce back. You can’t let it hold you down.”The missed chances probably wouldn’t have shifted the outcome of the game against New England, but it still wasn’t the best first impression to leave either. Moncrief has been dealing with a dislocated middle finger since early in training camp but he wouldn’t use that as a crutch for the dropped passes against the Patriots. The ten targets Moncrief saw in New England were the most of any Steelers’ receiver. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said he’s not altering his approach with Moncrief due to one shaky outing.Moncrief is looking to bounce back this week against the Seattle Seahawks, who only allowed 20 points to the Cincinnati Bengals last week but saw Andy Dalton throw for over 400 yards on 51 attempts.“He believes in me,” Moncrief said of Roethlisberger. “He knows what I can do. I know what I can do. At the end of the day that was my worst game ever in my career, and it hurt.“But you can’t just sit there and just pout about it. You gotta get better, and that’s what I’m doing.” The Patriots won the AFC Championship again this year Authentic Joejuan Williams Jersey , and fans and pundits around the country are trying to make excuses about how they did it. Pointing out a few questionable calls that went the Patriots way during the game, while omitting the ones that went against them. Well, there was almost an even bigger situation that the Patriots could’ve been dealing with. The refs did something that confused everyone on the Patriots drive in OT. After Gronk beat Eric Berry for a 1st down on 3rd and ten, the Patriots had the ball 1st and 10 at the 15 yard line. Rex Burkhead then ran the ball for 10 yards giving the Patriots another first down. Or did he? The side judge signaled for a first down, and then the broadcast went to a shot of Andy Reid’s face. When they came back, this is what we saw: Notice that the graphic says 1st and goal, but the down marker says 2nd down. For some reason, the sticks were taken off the far sideline, but they are clearly there on the near sideline. Then Burkhead runs again Joejuan Williams Jersey Boys , and the Patriots pick up a 1st down, but the broadcast says 2nd and goal:Burkhead runs it in on the next play, so none of this matters, but, in the 1st quarter they were stopped twice in a row at the goal line. Imagine if that had happened here? What if the nation, including the two guys calling the game thought it was 4th down, but it was actually only 3rd? The country would be embroiled in a debate about how the Patriots get unfair treatment from the league, and how they cheated their way to another Super Bowl. Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about that Youth Irving Fryar Jerseys , and we only have to listen to legitimate gripes. Like how the Rams are still upset that we taped their walkthrough before Super Bowl XXXVI. OK, so we’ll have to listen to stupid people saying stupid things all week, but at least this is one less thing they can talk about.
