The Toronto Blue Jays sent reliever Steve Delabar to triple-A on Tuesday while officially recalling infielder Munenori Kawasaki. The move comes one year after Delabar was voted to the American League all-star team in a fan vote. In 29 appearances this season Delabar is 3-0 with a WHIP of 1.36 and an ERA of 4.68. The 30-year-old was 5-5 last season in 55 games with one save and his ERA was more than a run lower at 3.22. Delabar was acquired from the Seattle Mariners in July, 2012 in exchange for outfielder Eric Thames. Kawasaki, 33, has spent the majority of the season with the triple-A Bisons, where he is hitting .276 with nine runs batted in in 44 games. Colin Moran Jersey . 1. An officer saw Malones SUV strike a curb after making a left turn from the centre lane early Saturday, said Tampa Police Lt. Paul Lusczynski. After being pulled over, Malone got out of his vehicle, and the officer smelled alcohol on his breath, Lusczynski said. According to the police report, the officer also found 1.3 grams of cocaine in one of Malones pockets. Malone refused to take field sobriety tests, but a breath test given at the jail recorded blood alcohol levels of 0.112 and 0.116 per cent, Lusczynski said. Florida law considers a driver impaired at 0.08. Malone was released from the Hillsborough County jail on US$2,500 bond. Jail records didnt show whether he had an attorney. Police impounded Malones SUV. "His future playing status, both in the near term and during the playoffs, will be determined in accordance the terms of our SABH program."
